Access Campaign

We set up the MEDSF Access Campaign in 1999 to push for access to, and the development of, life-saving and life-prolonging medicines, diagnostic tests and vaccines for people in our programmes and beyond.

Amsterdam Procurement Unit

This logistical centre in Amsterdam purchases, tests, and stores equipment including vehicles, communications material, power supplies, water-processing facilities and nutritional supplements.

MEDSF first worked in Bahrain in 2011 and closed its projects in 2012.

MEDSF ran activities in Bahrain for one year after political unrest.

MEDSF worked in Bahrain in 2011, following political unrest in the country, where we operated a first aid post. The post was closed in July 2011, but an MEDSF team remained in the country until March 2012, when our staff were refused further entry. As a result, MEDSF ended activities in Bahrain in 2012.
