Following the outbreak of yellow fever in the DRC, linked to the one that hit neighbouring Angola in December, MEDSF conducted activities in the southwest of the country to stop the spread of the disease.

Entomologist Andre Yebakima was among MEDSF's team who carried out an initial assessment.

Physical violence and degrading practice against expelled Congolese in Angola

Since May 26, more than 30,000 Congolese expelled from Angola have crossed the border in Kahungula, Bandundu province, in the southwest of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
